Scratch that, all but the Sam extension is included in "stdapi"; to get the Sam extension you will need to use Metasploit Framework 2.6. You can find all the different versions of Metasploit Framework at http://metasploit.com/tools/

Ok, I figured it out. It seams that the Meterpreter extensions in Metasploit Framework 2.x have been rolled into one single extension called "stdapi" in Metasploit Framework 3.x; which loads automatically when you run the Meterpreter payload.

Simply put, you no longer have to load the separate Process, Sam, and Fs extensions; just use the commands inherant to them, right off the bat.

I think this might have somthing to do with their desire for automated penetration testing in the future.

I'm using Metasploit 3.1 under Ubuntu 7.04; the exploitation hack works almost exactly the same as Metasploit 2 (shown in the video) up to the point where I try and load the Process, Sam, and Fs libraries for the Meterpreter payload..the console simply returns "Failed to load module: -m"..does anyone know how I could complete this hack with the new Metasploit framework 3.1?

p.s. thanks for another baddass video, Patchy!!

A nice tutorial with a classic exploit. Is there any other exploits like RPC DCOM which allow for as easy access to a computer?
