Underground – Trojan Basics

October 15th, 2008 by Patchy
In this Underground Video, Koly explains some of the fundamentals of Trojans. Trojans, also known as Trojan Horses, are a type of virus designed to give an Attacker remote access to a system. In this video Koly uses the Remote Administration Tool (RAT) Poison Ivy to demonstrate how to create and use a Trojan. Although, Trojans are frowned upon it is important to understand how Trojans work so that you can defend against them or utilize to easily open a backdoor on a compromised system. cool vid,
but if you want to create a good trojan program it yourself it’s the better way, and most of the time if more hard to detect it if it’s a trojan for windows …

    continue like that Kly …

  2. mathspeedy Says:

    opps Koly **

  3. matrix100 Says:

    good damn!! awesome video.. thanks.
you are a bit faster.. :P
anyway, i have a lot of doubts..
so, if the victim was compromised, i have full access to the system?? even if he/she turns off the system?? or does she have to be online??

  4. matrix100 Says:

btw, i am eagerly awaiting the next episode.. to make it undetectable :P

  5. Patchy Says:

@matrix100: Not to be mean or anything but a little common sense can go a long way. Poison Ivy is software that runs on a computer which opens a backdoor for an attacker. How could the software run if the computer was off? Also, if the computer was not connected to the internet how would you connect to the computer?

  6. matrix100 Says:

    @patchy
    :P yup.. thanks..
i too thought of it later..
    another question..
does the victim knows that the system has been compromised?? i mean, if he’s trying to open a browser and i’m trying to open an explorer, will there be any clash? :P

  7. Copy Says:

lol in my opinion, trojans==bad idea/scritpkiddie beyond belief

  8. bloodhacker Says:

  9. matrix100 Says:

  10. slicer45 Says:

  12. go0fy Says:

    nice vid.

hope the next ep is out soon so I can learn how to hide a trojan for antivirus :)

  13. MessySachu Says:

this was really great but there is something better.
Checkout a software called prorat it too works like the poison ivy.
But its trojan in undetectable and the software is a virus so AV must be turned Off in the attackers computer.
It also provides wide variety of options like formatting the discs etc..
You can download it directly from here http://www.prorat.net/downloads.php
    And the password is pro
    So Have fun and enjoy

    Happy Hacking:)
